At last - a The Sandman fan art! Starring Dream, Sandman, Lord Morpheus, Kaic'kul, whatever...
I made here a greater use of the Pen Tool and Paths - [promo mode]thanks to
's wonderful inking tutorial !! [/promo] And I just love the comic book feel you get from it 
The bird flying in the background is Matthew, Dream's pet raven.
I got the background by mixing two stock photos of mine, a custom brush and the Lens Flare filter on Photoshop.

Oh, yes, I see what you meant with the 'comics look' of the lineart. Very nice picture (and yay for doing something else with the Lens Flare filter than what most people do, slapping it over the picture without even bothering to change anything XD).
