MEME 2012
Funny way to sum up 2011 with a meme taken from

's journal.
1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
Sadly - I've been to a court and a law firm, as I've been victim of a fraud.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I've done only one resolution - to finish anything I started - and I finished hardly half of the projects I wanted to complete. On the other hand, I started a lot of new projects T_T
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope
5. What countries did you visit?
Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg (not really as a tourist though).
6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
A job (or at least an opportunity to move to a bigger place) - and self-confidence.
7. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
14 March 2011 - the day I found my boss cheated on us and ran away with the money, leaving 4 people unemployed. The schock was too big.
26 November 2011 - the day I travelled to Denmark.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Those little graphic jobs I did for several small companies and associations.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not finding a new job
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yes - and how! I fainted and fell on my head on the pavement, and ended up at the hospital with an ugly wound on the hairline.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
A new sketchbook and a laptop cooler.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
My dad, my ex-colleague who helped us through the lawsuit against my former boss, my friends and family for their support.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
My former boss. The boss of my country and his court.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent, bills, food. Sometimes books and stuff for graphic design and illustration.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
- Visiting my friends in France and abroad.
- Travelling to Denmark - I felt like I hadn't travelled for ages.
- NaNoWriMo 2011 - it's the only period of the year where I have something close to a social life. And that year, I made new friends

16. What song will always remind you of 2011?
I listened to so much music, so it'll be hard to choose a particular song :\ According to my Last FM page, the song I've listened to the most was this :
[link] (though it came out in 2005).

Done. With the family.

Nope.

28. What did you want and not get?
Well, a new job.
29. What was your favourite film of this year?
I didn't get to see many movies. I'd say "Intouchables" (a french comedy), because it was the last one I saw and it made me laugh and cry a lot.
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Gee! I spent the evening of my birthday locked in the office with my boss putting a printing project to bed. I came back home at 9PM, physically and mentally exhausted. Worst. Birthday. EVER!! I turned 31.

If I stopped worrying.

My family, my diet, going out everyday, writing and drawing, finding something to laugh about.
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Alexander Skarsgård (AKA Eric Northman in "True Blood"). I definitely dig Scandinavians! And yet, the most fan-ish things I've done about him are to download a couple of pics of him and have one as a desktop wallpaper

I don't have much time to fangirl.

Anything Sarko did.

Most of my friends, those who live away from me.

"Spread your legs as wide as you can
when you get yourself fucked
Someday the wheel will turn
and then, you'll get your fun.
Grateful, be grateful, a little grateful about it!"
From "Dankbar" by die toten Hosen (translated from the german)
